He has worked both in-house and in private practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His approach is strategic and commercial. Having successfully set up, run and managed a highly regulated business himself for many years, he is keenly aware of the need to protect his clients\u2019 \u2018bottom line\u2019 and business reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advocacy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Errol is a Solicitor-Advocate (Civil) and is authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to exercise \u2018higher rights of audience\u2019 in courts and tribunals. He has represented clients in hundreds of hearings at courts and tribunals, including at the First-Tier Tribunal (Care Standards) and at Coroners\u2019 Court Inquests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Membership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Member of the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member of the Association of Disciplinary and Regulatory Lawyers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member of the Association of Health and Safety Lawyers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Past Member of the Law Society Mental Health Tribunal Panel for 10 Years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Speaking and Writing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Errol has spoken in recent years at the <em>Health + Care<\/em> conference in London, the <em>Patient Safety Congress <\/em>in Manchester, the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Annual Conference, Health Service Journal\u2019s <em>Transforming Mental Health Conference<\/em> and at HSJ webinars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has contributed articles to a number of sector publications including Caring Times, Care Talk, Healthcare Business and Care Management Matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his spare time, Errol enjoys listening to live music and is a member of Ronnie Scott\u2019s Jazz Club.
