In 2018 he presented the award on behalf of SAHCA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is the former Chair of the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates, the only organisation representing solicitor advocates and their views. Adam appeared as junior advocate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>High Court<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Haederle v Thomas<\/strong>[2016] EWHC 1866 (Ch) \u2013 Contempt, and when is a breach of a freezing order a breach. Adam appeared as advocate on this long running case.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>King\u2019s Lynn and West Norfolk Council v Bunning<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bailii.org\/ew\/cases\/EWHC\/QB\/2013\/3390.html\">[2013] EWHC 3390 (QB)<\/a>\u2013 Contempt \/ legal aid, ground breaking case on the provision of legal aid for contempt under LASPO. The first ever case with legal aid provided. This case established a basis for challenging delay in decision making process, and was the start of a number of cases leading to the Supreme Court decision in\u00a0<em>ZO v SSHD<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.uk\/cases\/docs\/uksc-2009-0151-judgment.pdf\">[2010] UKSC 36<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Upper Tribunal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>MSM and others (wasted costs, effect of s.29(4))<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bailii.org\/uk\/cases\/UKUT\/IAC\/2016\/62.html\">[2016] UKUT 62 (IAC) (15 January 2016)<\/a>Wasted costs, Adam represented a large firm in respect to wasted costs order made in the Upper Tribunal.
